NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation Review

Happy hump day! I'm reviewing 5 foundations this week, one every single day so make sure to follow me on Instagram @styleupdateblog and follow my stories for impressions of each foundation and how it wears throughout the day! Today I'm trying NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in Oslo.

Part One: This is the most expensive foundation I've reviewed so far at a whopping $49! The bottle is BEAUTIFUL it's a luxe rectangular glass bottle with a pump top. This foundation is too light for my skin right now but I wore it this winter in Seattle. Beautiful coverage when first applied. Liquid, not thick, about 2-2.5 pumps was enough. I used a damp beauty blender to apply and all the same products that I used earlier this week, we are just changing out the foundations daily.

Part Two:  Still looked beautiful after four hours, amazing coverage. Looks natural but evens out my red skin. It feels light.  11 hours later... it did start to melt off of my nose by the end of the day. Unfortunately I did notice some dryness around my mouth, forehead and at my hairline which did not happen with the other two foundations I tried earlier this week. It started to get patchy and melt off past the 11 hour mark.

Overall, mixed feelings -- it looks beautiful on camera but I have long days and I need a foundation that doesn't need to be touched up! One thought: I read online that if you put it on with your fingers instead of a brush or beauty blender it stays on longer, so I might try that in the future!
