Three Tips for a White Christmas

First a #LIFEUPDATE on why I've been MIA from the blog since August! Hubby and I had a big out of state move back to California, where I'm from. It was a big decision that we went back and forth on for quite some time, but, ultimately we decided it was best for our careers and future.

Since we've been nesting in our new home, I've been dreaming up ways for you to have a white Christmas, even if you're not in an area that snows.

My first tip for a white Christmas is to get a fuzzy white tree skirt. I'm particularly fond of fuzzy white everything at this time of year, because I think it feeds into the coziness factor. You can find white tree skirts at varying price points, depending on what price, material, and size you are looking for. (I'll also link everything at the end of this post.) This one for example, is made of faux fur. I'm partial to fuzzy ones like this but it's definitely pricier. I just think it looks really nice and cozy in the home :) The nice thing is, you really only use this once a year. So if you take care of your tree skirt and store it properly it should last for holiday seasons to come.

My second tip is to put out your softest, coziest white blankets and pillows to create a luxurious winter wonderland feel. I have the most amazing soft blanket from Max Studio Home and I'll link a bunch more for you at different price points below. The coziness factor encourages staying in, spending time with loved ones, and appreciating all that you have.

My third tip is to put out fuzzy white stockings! This really ties the living room together and you'll never want to leave your winter wonderland or your tree :)

Do you prefer to do a white Christmas or a red and green one?
